Michigan State’s Adreian Payne’s biggest fan is an 8-year-old girl named Lacey Holsworth. She’s royalty.

“Princess Lacey,” as she’s known on Twitter, met Payne two years ago, according to the Washington Post, when the MSU basketball team was visiting the hospital where she was receiving treatment for an aggressive cancer called neuroblastoma.

In early March, the Big Ten Network released a video (below) following the incredible friendship that Payne and Princess Lacey have since developed.

“I think of him all the time,” Lacey tells BTN. “I love him.”
