The Sweet Reason One Young Woman Skipped Out on Prom

Josh Popkin told his girlfriend, Kasey Rosen, to go to the dance without him when a collapsed lung sent him to the Children’s National Medical Center in D.C., Bowie Patch reported. Instead, Rosen, a junior at Sherwood High School, skipped the big event at Baltimore’s National Aquarium and surprised him.

“We went through a lot together to get ready for the prom. I couldn’t have imagined going without him,” Rosen told CBS Baltimore in the video below. “When I told him I was going to come to the hospital in my dress he said, ‘I might actually pass out.’ It was cute.”
