Watch Friends Surprise This Teen With ‘What She’s Wanted Her Whole Life’

Sometimes a story simply refuses to stop getting better. This is one of those times.

Torri Biddle, 19, was born with a right arm that only grew to her elbow. In fall 2013, her friends bombarded Facebook and Twitter with a #HandForTorri social media campaign in hopes of getting Biddle a bionic arm. The hashtag caught the attention of The Buried Life, a group of four young men who go around the world completing a list of 100 things they want to do before they die while helping strangers do the same.

With the help of Invisible Children and Hanger Clinics, a prosthetic provider, the campaign came through with an arm for Biddle.

“This is what she’s always wanted her whole life,” Biddle’s dad, Joe, says in the video below.

If you watch that video a few good things happen: You’ll get to see Biddle use her arm for the first time, finally give her dad a full embrace — and if the video gets 1,000,000 views, Hanger Clinics will donate another arm to a teen who needs it. It’s a win-win-win, really.
