Here's a Short, Sweet Reminder Not to Sweat the Small Stuff

There’s never a problem so big that it’s not worth trying to overcome.

That seems to be the message behind this heartwarming short film titled “Light Rain” (below). Based on a true story by Bob Perks, it captures the moment when a little girl asks her mother if they can go running through the rain.

When the mother insists they’ll get soaked, the daughter responds, “That’s not what you said this morning.”

“This morning?” the mother asks. “When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?”

“Don’t you remember?” the child responds. “When you were talking to daddy about his cancer, you said ‘if we can get through this, we can get through anything.’”

That was all it took for the mother to realize a little rain is nothing compared to some of life’s obstacles. With that, they make a dash for it.

The video was donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, according to its description on YouTube, to help raise cancer awareness.
