What began as a rude question led to a beautiful moment of human connection.

Nick Ross, from Denver, was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma when he was 26, according to the YouTube video below. Hodgkin Lymphoma is a cancer of the immune system, according to the National Cancer Institute.

Although the question at the 1:30 mark at first seems incredibly insensitive, it ends up leading Ross into an unexpected and memorable experience.
