Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease, meaning the body is attacking itself, causing an array of symptoms such as joint pain, stiffness and swelling. RA doesn’t “just” affect the joints, though. It can have an impact on the skin, eyes, mouth and other bodily systems.

Since there is no cure or “one-size-fits-all” treatment for RA at this time, learning how to cope with the condition can be hard. Some people may find that laughter is the best medicine some days, which is why we created this list of memes that nail what it is like to live with RA. If you find humor to be a helpful coping mechanism, these memes are for you!
