Every chronic illness warrior needs an anthem: that one special song that seems to be speaking directly to you, giving you the strength to keep fighting another day. Of course, there are times when you want to listen to music that will distract you from the hard times. Other times, you might gravitate towards songs that help you relax or sleep. But sometimes, you just need that one song to blast when it feels like your illness is trying to break you down. Perhaps your anthem can remind you how strong you truly are, and that no matter what challenges come your way, you are brave enough to take them on.

When it comes to choosing your own “chronic illness anthem,” there are literally thousands of options. So, which one is your perfect song? That depends on the style of music you like and the message that makes you feel most powerful. To help you find your anthem, we created a quiz that will tell you which song is your best fit: “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten, “This Is Me” by Keala Settle, “I Won’t Back Down” by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, or “i” by Kendrick Lamar. Scroll down to listen to all four songs.
