Eileen Flood O’Connor is a freelance writer and mother of four. She writes about the joys and challenges of parenting a special needs child – as well as the roller coaster of parenting, marriage, and life in general. She graduated from UVA and attended Columbia University’s School of Journalism. She has worked as a grant writer at non profits in NY and Washington, D.C. and currently serves on the Board of the Adaptive Sports Foundation in Windham, NY. She grew up in Queens, NY and lives now with her family in Rye, New York.
