Katlyn is a coordinating special education teacher in a school designed for children with an autism diagnosis and significant behavioral and/or academic needs. She has been working in the field since 2010 and has worked with countless students who have changed and continue to change her life and worldview. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, watching baseball (Go Tribe!), and reading, especially non-fiction texts. Her hope is that through her small lens into the world of autism, even one more person may grow to accept those with the diagnosis and embrace their strengths rather than focusing on their differences.
