Kelly Rulle has always had her hands and heart involved in the care of others, and the preparation of tasty food. As a youngster, she rose to the challenge of preparing weekly dinners for her four siblings while her parents worked. Early in her career, she worked as a chef’s apprentice while attending culinary school; then embarked on a ten year journey that took her through many facets of the food service industry.
After being laid off from her job, she returned to school and earned a degree in clinical nutrition and credentialing as a Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR). She was employed in the healthcare field for more than 12 years.
Kelly has been on the receiving end of healthcare as well. A craniotomy in 1999 and then just a few years later, a diagnosis of Crohn’s disease set Kelly on her own quest for wellness. She has had several of her personal stories published on various wellness focused websites including The Center for Mind Body Medicine and The Mighty. It is Kelly’s hope that her writing will serve as inspiration to others as they discover their own paths toward vibrant health and wellness.
