Eosinophilic Esophagitis

Community, Stories & Info

Eosinophilic Esophagitis is a chronic allergic/immune system condition that causes a type of white blood cell (eosinophil) to build up in the lining of the esophagus in reaction to food, allergens or acid reflux. This causes the esophagus to swell and damaged tissue can lead to difficulty swallowing.

Organizations exist to provide support and resources to individuals experiencing Eosinophilic Esophagitis in their lives.
