Eosinophilic Fasciitis

Community, Stories & Info

Eosinophilic fasciitis is a rare disease caused by the inflammation of a type of white blood cells (eosinophil) that results in the inflammation and thickening of the skin and fascia (fibrous connective tissue under the skin that covers a surface of underlying tissues). This leads to the progressive thickening of the skin and often leads to redness, hardness, and warmth of the skin surface.

Organizations exist to provide support and resources to individuals experiencing eosinophilic fasciitis in their lives.
