This is a safe space to talk about how multiple health challenges work together and can make our lives unmanageable. Here we share our stories and struggles. Community Leader himself deals with having survived Covid; Migraines; HIV/AIDS (36 years) which has lead to Shingles, Pneumonia, Bronchitis, & Neuropathy which almost killed him ...and the depression that was amplified from dealing w/ the diagnosis, so he has deep experience dealing w/ worry, fear, anxiety, chronic pain & weeks lost in hospitals, therapy, surgeries, being bedridden & still has lingering symptoms, so he can relate to others with almost any physical health problems that have greatly affected our lives; is Bipolar 1. He has been mostly stable for a few decades with no manic episodes or suicidal depression but has been hospitalized and had extreme episodes in the past, so he can relate to people w/ mental health problems intimately; and has 10 years sober. All these experiences give him deep empathy & understanding!

It’s ok for men to cry, it’s ok for men to be vulnerable, its ok for men to need (and ask for) support. It’s ok to feel emotions. It’s ok to not be ok

Feeling Better with PAXLOVID?

I’ve been very symptomatic for a few days but after just 3 doses of Paxlovid, the fog has lifted! Anyone else?

My Dad used to say he was “collecting smiles” Being an open hearted and kind person isn’t always as easy it sounds! But a smile goes such a long way!

Pain hidden and truths saved inside can fester inside and the stress can be overwhelming, so if you are hurting find someone to talk to about it...

What’s the one thing that “saved” you? That’s a big word… but you know what I mean…what inspired change for you when you really needed it?

Just me

Hi my name is Susan and I recently learned I have BPD. I also have anxiety, addiction, and ADHD. So you can imagine the hurricane of hyper destruction I am in my life. I recently ended my relationship because I do not work on myself when I am in one. I realize I might just be better off being alone the rest of my life. And I am okay with that because I am actually happy when I am alone. I love helping others and yet I am the one who needs help the most. I came here to find support from people like myself myself to be there for anyone who needs to talk. My go to for balance is painting, drawing, and rock collecting. Although with addiction I tend to over do it with my hobbies lol.. hope to be a friend to all
