Retinoblastoma is a rare form of eye cancer that originates in the retina. It is the most common form of eye cancer in children, and it rarely occurs in adults. Retinoblastoma can occur in one or both eyes, and signs include a white color in the center of the pupil when light is shone is the eye, eyes that appear to be looking in different directions, redness and swelling. Treatments include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, laser therapy, cryotherapy, thermotherapy, and/or surgery to remove the affected eye.
