Sotos syndrome is a rare genetic disorder characterized by overgrowth, distinctive facial features, a large head, hypotonia, speech and language problems, learning disabilities, behavior problems and delayed development. Facial features include a high forehead, long and narrow face, reddened cheeks, a small and pointed chin and down-slanting palpebral fissures. There currently is no specific treatment for Sotos syndrome, but interventions that target individual symptoms are available.
