I was recently diagnosed with ADHD; feeling shocked and devastated with the news of my latest diagnosis I decided to hop on The Mighty and connect with others with ADHD. I can’t say I regret my decision because being on The Mighty has helped me in so many ways

What is ADHD?

1. The Mighty has reminded me that I’m not alone.

Being on the Mighty has really helped me realize that I’m not alone and it’s OK to feel overwhelmed.

2. The Mighty has given me a reason to smile.

Whenever I’m feeling down and out about my ADHD, I could always go on The Mighty and remember that there is always something to smile about.

3. The Mighty has given me the strength to share my story.

If it weren’t for The Mighty I probably wouldn’t have been able to have the strength to have shared my story, but thanks to The Mighty I have found my strength to share my story and connect with others like me.

4. The Mighty has allowed me to have open discussions with my loved ones about my ADHD. 

Being on The Mighty has given me the outlet to open about my ADHD with my loved ones and be OK with it.

5. The Mighty has allowed me to express myself and release any negative thoughts about my ADHD.

Being on The Mighty has allowed me to express myself and release all negative thoughts about my ADHD instead of keeping it all bottled up inside.

6. The Mighty has given me a reason to keep going.

Whenever I feel like giving up I know I can always log on to The Mighty and get support from others going through the same exact struggles that I’m facing that remind me to keep going and never give up. Ultimately I am truly thankful for The Mighty and its platform for what it’s done for me.
