I am Nakshatra but you can call me Naksh like my username. I've been living with mental illnesses like anxiety, chronic depression and insomnia since the past 12yrs. Last year i was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, adult ADHD and i wouldn't say i was surprised because that would be an understatement. So my therapist sent me here on this site so that I could learn from a community filled with people like me and guide me so i can find my will to live again.

#Autism #aspergersyndrome #Relationships As this Valentines weekend winds down, I’ve been a bit reflective on the holiday. As someone on the autism spectrum who is experiencing advancing age, I’ve all but resigned myself to what I’d best describe as “terminal bachelorhood”, especially as I’ve seen old friends from high school and college/university get married and settle down to raise families via the magic of social media. While I’m lucky to have close friends, the relationship bug’s bites have been pretty much immune to me, maybe because of being on the spectrum (lack of recognizing social cues, etc.)

Diagnosed in August 2017 with Asperger Syndrome. It has been an emotional rollercoaster coming to terms with it. I’m here to gain some perspective. #aspergersyndrome #Autism
