Cara Elizabeth Yar Khan (aka Mrs. Masters) born in India and raised in Canada, lives in Atlanta, USA with her gorgeous husband John. Cara strives to be another Face of Disability, shattering stigma and stereotypes and advocating for inclusion, representation and equal access for children and adults with disabilities. Recognized as Canada's Champion of Inclusion, Diversity and Empowerment of Women & Girls in the S.E. USA by the Canadian Consulate General, Cara uses her professional platform and life experience to break down barriers since being diagnosed in late 2006 with Hereditary Inclusion Body Myopathy, a rare muscle wasting disease that leads to severe impairments from head to toe. Her advocacy platform is called Princess Rising: www.princessrising.com In 2018 Cara and John, along with an entourage of award winning film makers, wild Mustang horse wranglers and professional white water paddlers, embarked on a daring 12-day journey crossing the Grand Canyon in 4 days on horseback and then rafting 150 miles of the Colorado River over another 8 days.
