Mighty Member since August 2017
I was diagnosed with a Chiari Malformation I in November 2015 and was decompressed (posterior fossa decompression and laminectomy) in December of that same year. My journey to a diagnosis took over 2 years and included many wasted doctor visits, unnecessary treatments, and more frustration than I could ever express. But I am more than my chronic illness. I am more than my symptoms. I am a mother, a wife, a professional, a lover of music, a hopeless optimist, and a WARRIOR. I love to travel, read, practice yoga, watch my boys wrestle, and do my best to spread kindness wherever I go.
