I am a writer and disabled registered nurse living with an autoimmune condition called Sjogren's, a neurological condition called Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), as well as a laundry list of other diagnoses, including depression and anxiety. I am also a cancer survivor. I have lived with chronic illness since 2008. I run a blog (For Everything There Is A Season) and have written for Nursing 2003, WOW: Women on Writing, The Manifest-Station/On Being Human as well as several other online websites. I am the author of the book Tales From the Dry Side: The Personal Stories Behind the Autoimmune Illness Sjogren's Syndrome. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
