Dr. Emily Casanova is a neuroscientist whose work primarily focuses on autism and hereditary connective tissue disorders like the Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and fragile X premutation. She is also a patient herself, having come to the study of EDS thanks to her own related diagnosis. Science is both her passion and her hobby. She loves collecting fossils and antiques, knitting, a good cuppa tea, and spending time with her family (both the human and furry varieties).
