Emily Ullrich is a writer, activist, filmmaker, and has even been an occasional stand-up comedian. Ullrich is currently writing her memoirs and focuses on pain patient advocacy as Director of Communications for National Pain Council, as she is able. She has a master’s degree from Antioch University and a bachelor of fine arts degree from Savannah College of Art and Design. She struggles with a long list of chronic illnesses: CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, uterine fibroid tumors, fibromyalgia, chronic pancreatitis, migraines, osteoarthritis, periodic limb movement disorder, restless leg syndrome and more.
