Hannah West is a 25 year old woman diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and OCD. She is a strong advocate for raising awareness of autistic adults because yes, autistic children grow up to be autistic adults. She also particularly cares about shedding light on autistic women who are all too often misdiagnosed or missed entirely. Empowered by her diagnosis, she seeks to share her first-hand perspective of her long journey from an autistic but undiagnosed child to a diagnosed autistic adult and to highlight all of the challenges and joy that has come with it. Besides living and breathing life as an autistic person, Hannah is also super interested in ASD as a whole - she wrote her dissertation on the study of ASD portrayal in popular media. When she’s not writing in her personal life for pleasure, Hannah is an account manager at a digital marketing agency, specialising in charities and for purpose-brands. Her clients span across the climate and mental health sectors - causes she is deeply passionate about.
