Jennifer Lerner is a UC Berkeley graduate and Fulbright Scholar. In June of 2014, she suffered a concussion in a soccer game, and what she thought would be a mere few weeks of recovery turned into a 16-month ordeal. During that time, she developed chronic neck and shoulder pain — among other types of chronic pain — as secondary consequences to the concussion, and is still struggling with chronic pain today. She is passionate about writing, photography, foreign languages, and politics. You can check out more of her writing here and her photography here.
