In addition to being a wife and mother of three, for more than two decades Meg has been working in the field of anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism, and is currently the Anti-Money Laundering Officer at RBC Capital Markets. In addition to her professional activities, Meg has been an advocate for all people with differences, and in 2011 created her Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (“DHIFI”) which in 2015 became a 501(c)(3) non-profit. In partnership with Scholastic, DHIFI provides national empathy and SEL programming to students that help empower students who look or feel different and help others to recognize that we all have our version of "two fingers to hide." Meg is an experienced speaker in public forums both in the U.S. and abroad--including being the featured speaker at the invitation of the U.S. Ambassador of Israel. Meg and has been published in national magazines, including the Jewish Forward and Parents. In 2012, Meg received a silver National Health Information Writing Award for her article, “It’s Okay to Stare.” Meg has been profiled on national television on the “TODAY Show” and in “My Extraordinary Family” on TLC. In May 2020, in response to the Pandemic DHIFI launched a new program with Scholastic for students across the country called, #weareallconncted which invites kids and teens to express their experience at home through art and photography with the intention to unify them amid the crisis.
