I need advice. I’m dealing with my own problems from my own diagnosises but my best friend has been going through something very familiar to me. I think she’s having a psychotic episode. She believes she’s got 7 reapers watching over her, she believes she’s been marked by death and she’s being influenced by another person who’s making her views on reality change. He’s made her believe he’s a new step in for the original Death. There’s A LOT more to this that I can’t type out but I need to know how to help her. She’s states away dealing with this on her own and I just want what’s best for her and this isn’t it. Whether she thinks it is or not. I’ve dealt with psychosis before myself but I’ve never had to help someone else with it. (side note: I’ve asked if she will see someone to get help but apparently the hallucinations don’t want her to get tested?) #Psychosis #Hallucinations #BipolarDisorder #BipolarDepression #Mania

How do you deal with the depressive episodes in your life? Mine are hitting hard right now and I just keep reminding myself that it’ll be okay eventually (which is hard at times) but I need to know if anyone has found anything that helps them? My body feels so heavy and it hurts to move at this point. It almost feels like I’ve been running nonstop for hours when I’ve just stood up. I need help and the best people I know to ask are my fellow polar bears :) thank you in advance!

I didn’t know if I was going to post here, I read lot’s of different stories posted and they’ve helped tremendously. I could use some advice or thoughts. I’m 26 with fibromyalgia, Sjögren's syndrome, raynards syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, and hyperglycemia. I also deal with ptsd, anxiety and panic attacks, acrophobia, and bpd. I’m also very alone and going through some serious emotional pain as well. My supposed to be partner who blames me for everything! Literally he is in complete charge of everything but blames me for money issues. It makes absolutely no sense on his reality to me. I beg him for help and attention and I get more insults and anger. I’m really to the point of wanting to just die. And he doesn’t care about that at all. I feel absolutely alone and I’m overwhelmed with fear and sadness. He also attacks me from time to time. He says it’s my fault and I usually end up apologizing for the whole situation. I’m lost and idk what the hell to do! Please some advice 🥹❤️

Just because we have the same diagnosis does not mean we have the same capabilities.

For instance telling me about a famous bipolar person when I tell you I can’t get out of bed and telling me everything they’ve managed to accomplish does not make me feel better. That’s like telling someone in a wheelchair about a famous person just like them who learned how to walk again and expecting it to make them feel better. It doesn’t. It makes them feel worse about their own accomplishments, just like it does to me when you compare my disorder to someone else’s.

STOP DOING THAT.
