I was put in physical restraints in the mental hospital and now have symptoms of ptsd. It was a really scary experience and I felt so helpless and claustrophobic being strapped down and unable to move. I know the health care workers thought they were doing the right thing to keep me safe, but I felt it was unneccessary and did more harm then good. I know that many people associate stimming with autism; however I’ve been struggling really bad lately due to severe anxiety and ptsd. I will rock back and forth, flap my hands and sometimes go non-verbal #SelectiveMutism I’m trying to learn ways to cope, but it’s really hard. Anything help any of y’all with this issue?

Hi y’all, a topic I’d like to talk about is BPD and hypomanic symptoms. I feel like the mood swings can be so intense I can go from like euphoric one minute to really depressed. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what’s helped you. Not sure what triggered the episode 🤔 it just sorta happened. Maybe lack of sleep or stress idk 😐 tonight I was feeling seriously 😳 up and not sleeping at all. Very restless and irritable! I actually ended up cutting my hair of though and that was fun.
