@sarawyn
I live with bipolar 2, ADD, anxiety, chronic pain, and chronic fatigue. Although I’m on meds right now, I don’t have a good therapist and I think I need one. Also, my family doesn’t understand all of my issues, and so I’ve been looking for groups where I can meet people who really understand what I’m dealing with. I’m glad to be here.

I. Don't. Care.

You want me to care that you got the wrong shade of pink with your gel manicure...I don't care. You want me to care that you got a paper cut....I don't care. You want me to care that you broke your cell phone screen....I don't care. You want me to care that the salon cut a half inch too much...I don't care. You want me to care that they forgot to put caramel on your frappe...I don't care. You want me to care about your insignificant problems...I don't care. I have my own problems. Remembering my meds at the right time. Avoiding impossible to avoid triggers. Constantly telling myself nobody is out to get me. Resisting the urge to self harm and drink. Keeping my anxiety in check. And most importantly: convincing myself to get out of bed each and every morning.
