A male in “females” world

So sorry but I just can’t understand why in this world that are certain medical issues that are gender specific. I a male been diagnosed with an eating disorder and all my life and leading up to treatment who said that eating disorders are strictly female I think that is complete bullshit. Just because I’m a male doesn’t mean I can’t have an eating disorder. I’m sick and tired of this fucking world treating all of us different because of our disabilities and disorders. Gender has nothing to do with anything. Just also because of being a male I have found it a bit harder to find treatment options for my eating disorder. This is just my experience, and oh I bet it’s hard to find treatment options for anyone. #AnorexiaNervosa #EatingDisorders #BipolarDepression #Anxiety

Songs and Music Can Help When You're Struggling

Music conveys what the heart cannot. When you’re going through a hard time, sometimes music is that band-aid that makes things just a little bit better. Yes, some songs will tell you to “be strong” and “keep going,” but for the most part music doesn’t tell you to “suck it up.” It doesn’t gaslight you, or give you advice when you didn’t ask. Not A Happy Birthday #Divorce #Depression #Loneliness

Today I turned 52. 130 people saw the notification on their Facebook feed and thought enough to wish me a happy birthday. But neither of my children, aged 21 and 20, have called or texted. Not that I thought they would. My life is meaningless.
