Teenager Born With One Arm Wants Your Help to Change the Face of Beauty
Sarah is a 16-year-old student from Indiana who was born missing her left arm. As a youth ambassador for Everyone Matters, a charity organization campaigning for the dignity of people everywhere, Sarah is asking viewers to help redefine standards of beauty and perfection in our society.
You can join in the campaign by uploading a picture or video of yourself and using #ChangingTheFaceofBeauty to share it with the world.
“Tell yourself every day how beautiful you are,” Sarah says in the video below. “I promise you, that each and every one of you, no matter what your difference is, no matter what your imperfections are, you are beautiful.”
