“You are my person, you will always be my person.”

Life blessed me with two wonderful people who I’m proud to call my best friends. The thing is that being as introverted as I am, I never show them how grateful I am for the honor of having them by my side and this year, this particular year, I wanted to thank them. So girls, sit down, this is for you.

I don’t even know where to start but right now the only two words I can think of are: Thank and You. Thank you for having changed my life just by being part of it.

Thank you for standing by me every single time, during the best and worst.

Thank you for seeing me at my worst and still sticking around to hold me, to help me.

Thank you for not leaving me alone when the only thing I wanted was to be alone, forever.

Thank you because you know every single side of me, even the horrible ones, but despite that you still hold my hand.

Thank you for the laughs and the tears.

Thank you for the pain in the stomach caused by laughing until I couldn’t stop.

You know, there’s bad in the world, there’s darkness, but thanks to you I had to believe that there’s good after all and there’s light.

I’ve had times where everything was dark, everything was empty and I couldn’t find the sense nor the will to keep going, but you were there and suddenly my life was bright and full and I finally found my point, the point of life. The strength to keep living.

I’ve found myself losing my way but you held my hand and you helped me find it.

There’s not been a single time that I’ve felt alone during this year — actually during my entire life with you — because I knew that you were there for me, and for this: thank you.

Thank you for making me believe I could do it when I thought I couldn’t.

Thank you for making me believe.

Thank you for supporting me.

Thank you for existing.

I may never show it but I love you to death, I love you so much than I cannot imagine my life without you. You are my forever friends, and forever has no end.

Thank you.
