Liz Anderson is a high school Spanish and English teacher in Michigan. She lives with her husband, Dave, and her two sons, ages 6 and 10. Her youngest son was born with a craniofacial disorder, called Treacher Collins Syndrome which affects 1 in 50,000 people. This disorder affects how the jaw, bones in the face and ears grow. She is an active member of the Children’s Craniofacial Association and wants for people to understand how each person, no matter what their differences, has something special to add to the world.
