Terri lives in San Diego. Her daughter, Shea is one of six children and a twin to a typical sister. Shea was diagnosed with autism at 18 months old and is non-verbal. Terri is a passionate advocate for children with special needs. She is the Board Chair for the San Diego Regional Center, the second largest Regional Center in California out of 21 and the President of ARCA (The Association of Regional Center Agencies) for the State of California. She spends a great deal of her time in Sacramento endeavoring to help push the legislative agenda to create additional funding and legislation for the care and protection of special needs children. She dedicates her life not only to one of the great loves of her life, Shea – but to all of the people out there who may not have their own voice.
