#Lissencephaly
Lissencephaly is a rare, genetic brain malformation that is characterized by the absence of folds, or convolutions, in the cerebral cortex and an abnormally small head size. Other signs include abnormal facial features, failure to thrive, difficulty swallowing, muscle spasms, seizures and severe psychomotor problems. Lissencephaly may be associated with other conditions included Walker-Warburg syndrome and Miller-Dieker syndrome.
