Hi everyone!

I have an incomplete tetraplegia and I use a wheelchair. I have an upcoming trip planned to several cities in Europe between mid-April and mid-May, and I’ve run into an accessibility issue I didn’t expect.

None of the hotels I booked have a shower wheelchair. Every single one of them only provides a small shower stool. While that may work for some people with reduced mobility, it doesn’t provide enough safety for me and it also doesn’t allow me to take care of my physiological needs.

I researched rental options, but the prices are extremely high (between €150 and €300+ for only 4-5 days). For my income, this is a very high cost, especially considering that during the trip I will also have to pay for hotels, food, flights, taxis, and the rental of an electric wheelchair in each city (bringing my own turned into a bureaucratic nightmare).

So I wanted to ask: are there any wheelchair users who live in (or know someone in) Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Florence, or Rome who might be willing to lend a shower wheelchair during my stay? It doesn’t have to be for free, I’m just hoping to find something more reasonable than the rental companies.

Hello .

I didn't do physical therapy for a long time so I want something that helps to move my legs like in the photo ..
I do that sometimes but I'm not strong enough to raise them up due of some problems with my both hips ..
Any tips please?
