Does it irritate you when someone compares your pain to theirs or brush your pain off as if it's a competition smh #fibromyalgiawarrior #ignorance #toxicsupport

I was talking with my parents a couple days ago, and my mom must have been in a really bad mood, because she said to me something like this:
"Well if you're struggling that bad that you need to cut, next time you get the urge to cut, call me and I'll cut with ya!!"
And she repeated it twice more as we were talking. I told her it was not helpful to hear that kind of stuff and that I was seeing my counselor and doctor for support, but she was still sarcastic.
How would you feel? What would you do?
