Our 7 year old is newly diagnosed with TSC. As a mom, it’s gut wrenching. It’s a terrifying new territory for us. But for Maya, she goes with the flow. She goes from dr to dr then to the neuro cutaneous clinic. She goes from an MRI of her brain to the CT scan of her kidneys. Her main concern is having enough snacks and being able to watch Peter Rabbit on the IPad between appointments. Maya’s our superhero. Her superpower is fighting TSC with a smile.
