Due to COVID-19, the new-to-humans coronavirus that causes respiratory infection and can lead to serious or fatal health complications, we have experienced unprecedented grocery shortages. From a lack of toilet paper to decreased availability of everyday grocery essentials, very few of us have been able to get all the groceries we need right now.

Luckily, some restaurants have stepped up to offer supplies available for pickup and delivery that your local grocery store may have run out of. Below, we’ve pulled together a list of 10 restaurants you may not have realized are selling groceries right now.

1. Tender Greens

The health-conscious and eco-friendly restaurant chain Tender Greens was one of the first to begin offering grocery products to their customers. On their website, you can order Grocery Boxes including veggie boxes, fruit boxes, indoor picnic boxes and others. Some of the boxes even include toilet paper rolls, a staple many grocery stores have been sold out of. Boxes are available for pickup or delivery in all their California locations. For more information and pricing, head to the Tender Greens website.

2. Panera Bread

Panera, best known for its bread products, is now offering general groceries during the COVID-19 pandemic including produce, dairy, bread and bagels. On their website, you can order these items for pick-up or contactless delivery. Head here for more information.

3. California Pizza Kitchen

California Pizza Kitchen recently launched a pop-up market called CPK Market, offering meal kits and pantry items. Meal kits include taco kits, fruit and veggie boxes and kid-friendly build-your-own cheese pizza. Pantry items range from milk to flour to pasta sauces. To check out the full menu and pricing, head here. Though the restaurant chain has many locations worldwide, please note that CPK Market is not available at CPK’s Hawaiian restaurants.

4. Just Salad

Just Salad, a healthy and affordable restaurant chain with locations on the East Coast and in Dubai, just launched a grocery delivery service called Just Grocery. Grocery deliveries include meal kits, as well as fresh produce and proteins. Currently, Just Grocery only delivers to Manhattan, New York. To order, head here.

5. Subway

In order to support their employees, sandwich chain Subway created Subway Grocery, which sells all the items you would expect to see in the store regularly (think sandwich meat, bread and veggie toppings) — but a-la-carte. Subway Grocery offers pickup and delivery of their classic sandwich items through select stores. Click here to see if they deliver in your area.

6. Potbelly Sandwich Shop

Like Subway, Potbelly Sandwich Shop now sells its sandwich materials a-la-carte online. On the new part of their site, called Potbelly Pantry, you can stock up on items like sandwich meat, cheese, bread, chips, cookies and soda. Head here to learn more.

7. HomeState

HomeState, a Texas-style restaurant with locations in Los Angeles, now has a “General Store.” In addition to some regular menu items, the restaurant now offers items for sale like produce, nuts and dried and canned goods. Check out the General Store menu here.

When Mayor Garcetti included restaurant delivery and pick-up as essential business, I took that to heart. Restaurants are here to serve our communities. Right now it’s not just about getting your favorite taco at HomeState, but getting a gallon of milk, a pound of flour, or even a roll of toilet paper that you haven’t been able to find after searching grocery stores. Finding creative solutions to get through this has given our team a true sense of purpose, to provide for our neighbors in any way that we can. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Our General Stores are OPEN today. Hollywood 8-8. Highland Park 10-5. And yes, we have enchiladas, beans, flour, margaritas, toilet paper and more. Tagging a few other restaurants we know are offering great goods for pick-up. Comment with any other small businesses you are supporting during this time. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Stay Healthy,⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Briana & Team HomeState ???? #homestateathome

Go Get Em Tiger is a coffee bar with a number of locations in the Los Angeles area.
