New Season of 'Big Mouth' to Feature Anxiety 'Monster Mosquitos'
What happened: The monster that is anxiety takes on a literal form in the upcoming season four of Netflix’s “Big Mouth” series. The animated show follows the lives of several teenagers as they deal with the struggles of growing up and dealing with puberty. “Big Mouth” first aired in 2017 and this new season stars anxiety mosquito monsters targeting the teens at summer camp. It will air on Dec. 2.

The Frontlines: Anxiety is the most common mental health condition with close to 40 million American adults living with some type of anxiety disorder. This statistic grows when you look at the figures among teens.
- One study showed 1 in 3 teens will develop an anxiety disorder
