Four years after my last pair snapped it half (at my best friends birthday party at a club, which was super fun to have to walk back to the car to take them off— but said best friend— Paige— bought me a new cane that day, during her own birthday party lol so I was fine) I got a new pair of AFO ToeOff braces! The girl who fit me for them did some walking tests and I walk half a second faster every meter.
Paige also took me out to the mall to test walking around and how much they help can’t be overstated, I don’t have to worry about rolling my ankles and wiping out or tripping over my own toes. The lessened strain on my muscles keeping me steady and standing means less pain, too. I love these things. #CharcotMarieToothDisease #Afobrace
