Halloween has always been my favorite day of the year. I almost always wear a costume and put a lot into preparing for it.
I realized this morning that maybe the reason for this might be that because of my disorder, having little to none of my own unique identity, dressing up as a definite “character” is in a way comforting, because for that one day, I know who I am. I play the part without questioning who I am like I do everyday.
This year, I’m dressing up as a 70’s Disco Queen!
