It's hypocritical to me that the same people willing to drug me "professionally" my entire life can't reconcile with natural medicine. #MentalHealth

Doctors live on the same planet as ganja plants, imagine that!

#Autism tag belongs here because people's lives matter more than codified disinformation about MMJ. If you're making therapeutic conclusions based on fear, uncertainty or doubt, don't partake. Simple as that. There is no need to rationalise a broken system that does not show up for everyone. Being systematically denied basic medical care simply due to neurological differences is anti-hippocratic. Some of us have to fill that gap.

It's painfully obvious to me that many if not all #CannabisUseDisorder diagnoses are bogus. Weeks on end barely sleeping despite 100% medication adherence on my part whilst taking huge doses of melatonin flooding my receptors nightly are OBVIOUSLY less healthy than a bit of herb. Yes, I can obviously screw myself up with inordinate amounts of weed but it's not just going to be lethal as if I gobbled a week of "meds". Yes, too much of any drug will make you barf. Big surprise huh? Could marijuana just be a worthwhile IPECAC substitute after all? 🤪

By the way I'm detoxing for American thanksgiving. Big whup. Not a challenge. I know challenges. This is not as challenging as my work or my doubts about my CPR skills. Cue BeeGees - Stayin' Alive - I'm pretty sure my CPR skills are at least decent thanks to scouting & considering most people requiring it haven't been stabbed 1st. No, that wasn't the 1 trauma in my life. Cycle breaking requires independent thought. Independent thoughts are inherently unbound by societal norms.

I had sleep paralysis years before I ever found marijuana. It took me from 200+ nights a year maybe getting to sleep by 3 or 4am to perhaps one night or two of that misery at most. I have #AutismSpectrumDisorder & a fairly serious tech resume. I'm not screwing around professionally & I'm not some feckless smack addict as the DSM5 might lead "professionals" to believe.

Cannabis doesn't get big time docs paid so they'll happily side with pharmaceutical lobbyists. Sticking to one professional discipline or another is just a blinders up mindset. Sobriety is a sovereign individual choice. Foisting a lack of perspective on patients is a crab in a barrel mindset. #CannabisCorner
