As many of us know, too much alone time can allow the committee in our head to create lies, lies and more lines. One of the first “re-train your brain” excercises I was taught was picture a big red stop sign and yell “stop”, in your head, as soon as you catch yourself in negative self-talk and immediately give yourself a loving thought and praise. I still keep this tool strapped in my tool belt. Has anyone tried this, or willing to give it a go? Do you find it effective?
