These Innovative Shirts Make It Easier for Kids to Get Life Saving Care.
Loving Tabs Healing shirts were created by nonprofit The Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF).
The shirts are designed with open-close shoulder panel that gives kids with cancer more dignity and ease when accessing chest catheter ports.
“Young cancer patients are often reluctant to lift or remove their clothing die to feelings of fear and modesty, which can interfere with life-saving treatment.”
“Children fighting for their lives should not also have to fight for their dignity.”
-Richard Nares Co-Founder/Executive Director of ENF
Loving Tabs Healing T-shirts protect a child’s dignity & improve the treatment process.
More than 1,300 Loving Tabs Healing shirts have been distributed to Children’s hospitals across the country.
While designed for chemo treatments, the shirts may also help kids who need scans or tests for other conditions.
“After modifying more than twenty shirts for my son when he was in chemotherapy, we knew this idea would stick and be very important for children battling cancer.”
-Luiz Quiroga Patient Service Director of ENF
