We all have those days. You know what I’m talking about. The ones where you walk into the bathroom, sit on the floor and just cry. The ones where just sitting up in bed makes you feel defeated. The ones that make you feel like you can no longer live like this.

I have compiled three groups of playlists: Christian, Pop/Rock and Country.

1. Christian Playlist

Like many out there, I know I can’t fight this alone. I rely on my God to give me the strength to get through life day to day. He is my inspiration on days I don’t feel inspired.

On days when I just need to cry because I’m frustrated, I’m discouraged and I just genuinely don’t feel like I can fight too much more, I turn on these slower songs that give me all the inspiration I need to continue to cry, but at the same time give me hope to keep going.

“Praise You in This Storm” by Casting Crowns

“Through All of It” by Colton Dixon

“Thy Will” by Hillary Scott & The Scott Family

“Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” by Hillsong UNITED

“Even If” by Kutless

“Eye of the Storm” by Ryan Stevenson, feat. GabeReal

On days when I can barely function but it’s a day I need to be functioning (you know what I’m talking about), I will drag myself out to my vehicle and I just blast these songs as I drive. They give me that encouragement I need so I can conquer the day…even though I’ll be fighting my condition all day.

“Giants Fall” by Francesca Battistelli

“Diamonds” by Hawk Nelson

“Overcomer” by Mandisa

“Mended” by Matthew West

“Higher” by Unspoken

“Chain Breaker” by Zach Williams

“Move (Keep Walkin’)” by TobyMac

If you are not very religious or spiritual or you don’t like the Christian music genre, these following playlists can also lend a lot of inspiration.

2. Pop/Rock Playlist

For my music lovers who don’t want Christian or country music, here’s a playlist that is sure to speak to someone on their worst day(s)!

“Stronger” by Kelly Clarkson

“Survivor” by Destiny’s Child

“Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor

“Tubthumping” by Chumbawamba

“Dare You to Move” by Switchfoot

“The Story of Beauty” by Destiny’s Child

“Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys

“I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor

“Fight Song” by Rachel Platten

“Titanium” by David Guetta feat. Sia

“Her Diamonds” by Rob Thomas (written about his wife, Marisol, who has an autoimmune disease)

3. Country Playlist

For my country music lovers out there… These are some amazing songs to listen to when you need music to speak to you.

“Anyway” by Martina McBride

“Something in the Water” by Carrie Underwood

“Stand” by Rascal Flatts

“Strong Enough to Cry” by Lorrie Morgan

“The Climb” by Miley Cyrus

“Live Like You Were Dying” by Tim McGraw

“Tough” by Craig Morgan

“Bring on the Rain” by Jo Dee Messina

“Strong” by Tracy Lawrence

“Tough” by Kellie Pickler

I hope you enjoy these songs as much as I have come to rely on them. Stay strong, keep movin’ and keep fighting.
