7 Simple Exercises You Can Do in a Wheelchair or Sitting Down

  1. Core Rotations and Crunches
    Do them as small and slow as you need.
  2. Toe Touches
    Start at your knees and work your way down.
  3. Arm Raises
    You can hold a ball or light weight.
  4. Arm Presses
    Add dumbbells or any object for extra weight.
  5. Raised Arm Stretches
    Hold for 15 seconds.
  6. Wheelchair Lifts.
    Go as slow as you need.
  7. Seated Jabs
    After a few minutes, it’s great cardio.
