School this year has been a little bit bumpy, as we’ve recently started a new program.

There have been teacher conferences and meetings galore. There have been brainstorming sessions, and trying to get everyone on the same page. There have been lots of ups and downs, and bumps in the road.

But amidst all of the drama and the begging for resources and tools — there is this one amazing teacher.

She believes in my son.
She realizes the value that he has.
She sees how smart he is.
She sees the worth in modifying his work for him.
She believes in him.
She loves to see his smile and loves to see his happiness when he feels successful!

Please, be that teacher!
Be that shining beacon of hope!
Be the positive change!
Be the includer!
Be the one to include all!
