'Born This Way' Renewed for a Third Season on A&E

“Born This Way” fans, rejoice. A&E announced on Monday that it will renew the docu-series for a third season. This announcement follows the show’s Emmy win for outstanding unstructured reality program. According to Deadline, season three will feature 10 one-hour episodes.

“Born This Way” documents the lives of seven young adults living with Down syndrome. The show has been praised for the way it shows people with Down syndrome, capturing the way they live, love, work and play.

The show is “a shining example of what the entertainment business needs more of – powerful, thought-provoking storytelling with a greater purpose,” Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive vice president and head of programming at A&E Network, told Deadline.

Born This Way” finishes its second season this Tuesday at 10 p.m. If you’ve missed this season, you can watch episodes online through your television provider.
