Lacey Parker is a new cheerleader at North DeSoto Middle School in Stonewall, Louisiana, and she couldn’t be more excited about it.

Lacey, 10, has been dreaming about this day since her older sister was on the squad, according to WAFB.

Down syndrome is a label, it’s not who she is,” Renee Parker, Lacey’s mom, told the outlet. “She’s an amazing little girl who strives to do whatever she wants to do.”

Since the video was posted to Facebook on Friday, May 1, it’s been shared nearly 50,000 times and seen by more than 3 million people.

Congratulations, Lacey!
