Today, my partner left a career to be home with me full time because, since I had to leave my job with permanent disability after a failed spine surgery, I can’t manage the household or look after the grandkids all alone. While I’m thrilled to have the help and company, it also means we’ll both be living off my disability pension, which will be a big financial change for us. I’m angry that my fibromyalgia and spine condition have cost both of us our career, but I’m also grateful that my partner is willing to make that sacrifice for our day to day happiness. #EarlyRetirement #Accommodations #financialloss
